The Oxford Parks and Recreation Commission will once again be hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers to second-graders.
The hunt will be held on the Great Oak School soccer field Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. SHARP. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to April 7.
Prizes will be given in different age categories. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 p.m. to visit with the children and give out goodies!
This event is free, but we will be graciously accepting your non-perishable food donations to give to the NEW Oxford Food Bank (at Oxford Ambulance). Please be generous in giving to those in need.
If there’s a question about whether or not the event is postponed, call 203 – 888-2543. After the voicemail greeting answers, press 4 and then press 1 to hear an announcement about the event’s status. The hotline will be updated after 10 a.m. You may also go to OxfordRec.com for updates.
If more info is needed, call the Parks and Recreation office at 203 – 888-2543, Ext. 3041 or e‑mail parkandrec@oxford-ct.gov.
Please note that this is an event for Oxford residents only.
