The Echo Hose Hook & Ladder Co. 1 Auxiliary is calling all who are interested in giving back to their Volunteer Fire Department and community to join us for our first meeting of 2016:

After the devastating fire that put 30 residents out of a place to live, a handful of individuals put together the “Howe Avenue Relief Fund” and our Community shined like no other!
After the relief fund came to an end about 4 – 5 months after, a few of the firemen’s other halves and family members came together to start the Auxiliary! Our men and women who volunteer 365 days a year, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day are always ready for the unexpected and they drop everything at the sound of a tone for complete strangers!
Our firefighters are dedicated to service the public, and the Auxiliary provides social, service and financial support aimed at allowing them to better do so.
Social events, fundraisers and community outreach are just a few of the ways the Auxiliary helps the department uphold their standard of excellence and solidify the notion of neighbors helping neighbors.
