Political parties from Valley municipalities will be meeting this month to endorse slates of candidates for the November elections.
Here’s when and where.
Shelton
Shelton’s Democrats will caucus July 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 41 Church St.
The city’s Republicans have set down July 22 at 7 p.m. for their caucus at the Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St.
Seymour
Seymour Republicans will meet July 18 at 8 p.m. in the Community Center on Pine Street to endorse a slate of candidates.
Seymour’s Democratic Town Committee will pick a slate of party-endorsed candidates for the November municipal elections at a caucus July 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Norma Drummer Room at Town Hall, after the committee’s regular meeting at 7 p.m. If you’re interested in running for office in the election, call DTC Chairman Steve Kulas at 203 – 881-8390.
Oxford
Oxford Republicans will meet July 23 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 3 at Oxford Town Hall to endorse its slate.
Oxford’s Democrats will meet at the same time, July 23 at 6:30 p.m., at Oxford High School, to pick their slate.
