The Board of Directors and Advisory Committee of Ella’s List, the Connecticut political action committee dedicated to supporting and electing Democratic women to leadership at local and state levels, has endorsed 31 CT women who are running for Mayor or First Selectman in the municipal elections of November 7th.
“Across Connecticut we’ve found talented women including municipal office holders, leaders of town boards, schools, religious and volunteer organizations, who’ve made the commitment to run for and serve as the Mayor or First Selectman of their cities and towns. From first-time candidates, to those looking to step up from less demanding offices, as well as current Mayors or First Selectmen seeking re-election, our Ella’s List Inaugural Class of 2017 exhibits breathtaking talent, smart ideas, perseverance, empathy and grit — all the qualities necessary to lead our towns and cities during challenging times. They are working hard to earn the trust and the votes of their constituents. We couldn’t be prouder to support them, “ noted Michelle Parente DiMartino, who is Treasurer.
