Christine Boulay, donations coordinator for My Sister’s Place thrift shop in Ansonia, was a guest at a recent Shelton Exchange Club meeting.
There she explained the repair process for the business and said that My Sister’s Place will be reopening this Monday (April 29).
The Shelton Exchange Club, which has already delivered several donations and has set up two donation bins in Shelton for My Sister’s Place, also presented Boulay with a check for $500 on behalf of the club.
Also, the club previously donated 12 cartons filled with books at the book drive for the newly renovated library at Irving School in Derby.
If anyone is interested in learning more about the Shelton Exchange Club they are encouraged to contact Denise Navarro at (203) 231‑5328.
The club is open to new members who live in or work in Shelton or any other area town.
