Fashion Show And Day Of Beauty Fundraiser For Autism Speaks

A fashion show and day of beauty will be held Saturday, April 12 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Oxford Grange on Route 67 in Oxford to benefit Autism Speaks. 

Doors open at 1 p.m. with a variety of activities and vendors. Representatives from Special Olympics Oxford and the Autism project at the Kennedy Center will be there to discuss autism with attendees. 

Adults can enjoy beauty and fashion advice from Mary Kay consultant Victoria Emerson, Facials by Bubbly Spa, Thirty One Bag Consultant Joann Briganti, Karen Dayle’s Creations Custom Jewelry Designs with Swarovski crystals. 

For kids, Pink Butterfly Spa Parties will do manicures, pedicures, and facials for little girls. A special table will provide kids with Easter crafts and bracelet looms. 

The fashion show with a Dress the Best for Less Theme” will begin at 2 p.m. with adult models wearing fashions from Dancing Chihuahua Ladies Consignment Boutique in Seymour and kids modeling fashions from Couture Fashions Consignments Southbury.

With fun activities and chances on prizes chairman of the event Lauren Frasca has created an event that families can enjoy while supporting the Autism Speaks charity. 

Tickets are $5 donation each prior to the event by contacting Lauren at 203 305‑1817 or available at the door on the day of the fashion show and day of beauty.
