A 22-year-old Shelton man died in a motorcycle crash on Dogwood Drive Monday night.
Police responded to a report of a motorcycle crash at 7:31 p.m., according to Sgt. Robert Kozlowsky, the department’s spokesman.
The first officers on the scene saw that the motorcycle had gone off the road near 35 Dogwood Drive.
The rider has been identified as Michael Anderson of Tuckahoe Drive.
Anderson was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died. There was no word this morning on whether he was wearing a helmet.
The accident is being investigated by the police department’s Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team.
