The Ansonia Housing Authority this week got the OK to raze four more buildings at Riverside Apartments.
Two of the 11 original apartment buildings, constructed a half-century ago, were torn down in September 2009.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development gave the approval Monday to demolish buildings 3, 4, 5 and 7 on the south side, said Jimmy Miller, AHA interim executive director.
The process of interviewing and relocating the 57 families and then demolishing the Olson Drive structures begins in about a week, Miller said Tuesday.
