ANSONIA — Macedonia Baptist will hold a food drive at the church, located at 243 Pershing Dr., on Sept. 11.
The drive will benefit the Kathleen Samela Memorial Food Bank, and will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to church officials, the drive is held during September, Hunger Awareness Month, to bring more attention to hunger in Ansonia and the Valley.
Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for those who’d like to help.
