A Countryside Tavern”

Italian restaurateur Tony and his son Tonino seek a new Executive Chef to transform their Connecticut restaurant, Tavern 1757, into a rustic Italian hotspot.

Anne Burrell tests four chefs on their ability to create Sardinian-inspired dishes as well as incorporate rustic meats such as rabbit and wild boar.

During dinner service, one chef struggles to keep their timidity from sabotaging their chances at this dream opportunity, while the other struggles to maintain quality control of the food going out to the customers.

It’s a big job for a big restaurant, and only one walks away with the title of Executive Chef.

Competing Chefs: Brian Reilly; Thomas Valdes; Ryan Escude; Kelli Daniels
