The Seymour Wildcats are 2 – 0 after a 26 – 14 win over Sacred Heart in Waterbury Thursday night.
Rep-Am sports scribe Roger Cleaveland points out Seymour was just 1 – 19 over the past two seasons.
“While (2 – 0) may be a modest streak for a program that has won four state championships and played in four other title games, it is a huge statement for this group of kids to make,” Cleaveland writes.
