The Frank Hoinsky “Foreclosure Bus Tour” rolls again. We will be leaving from 685 Main Street Ansonia on Sunday June 12. Call 203 – 732-8080 to reserve a seat.
The tour leaves at 9 a.m. and takes about two hours. We will see seven to eight single-family and multi-family homes. Our tour has become a rolling seminar for home buying and investing. Our intention is to help you understand the home buying process with “no pressure” and enjoy yourself. Everyone gets a “goody bag” filled with home information and free gifts.
We also use the tour to raise funds for local charities. This tour we will be asking the participants to bring used clothing and donations to be given to “My Sister’s Place” in Ansonia. All proceeds go to support families of domestic violence programs run by the Umbrella and the Birmingham Group..
This is the third year of the tours and the interest has really grown. These homes are bought at well below market value but they all need some repair.
We have a home inspector ride along to explain the work that is needed. We can follow up with contractors to get written estimates. No hidden surprises!
There will also be a mortgage consultant on board. Anyone who joins us can request pre-qualification for financing, free of charge. And mortgage rates around 4 percent are available to our qualified applicants.
Our staff of very knowledgeable real estate agents will be there to answer any questions. We can make appointments to take participants on personal home searches, if requested.
