ANSONIA – Ansonia Public Schools will be offering free breakfast and lunch to children under the age of 18 this summer, according to a school newsletter sent to parents.
The meals began on Monday (June 17) and will continue until Friday Aug. 16. Children can pick up meals from Ansonia High School, or the back parking lot of Ansonia Middle School.
Breakfast hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., and lunch hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals are offered Monday through Friday each week.
All food picked up must be consumed on site. There are picnic tables at the middle school where children can eat their meals.
There will be no service July 4.
