The cast of the Valley Shakespeare Festival‘s upcoming production of “The Comedy Of Errors” gathered Thursday (July 11) for a “meet and greet” fundraiser at Derby’s Twisted Vine Restaurant.
The play will run for three FREE performances this week at Veterans Memorial Park in Shelton — just bring a blanket, chairs, and a picnic — July 18, July 19, and July 20 at 8 p.m.
“We had a fabulous turn-out (far more than we expected!) and everyone had a wonderful time,” festival organizer Cheryl O’Brien said via e‑mail. “The cast members circulated with the guests and put on three excerpts from the upcoming play, we had a wine grab, 50/50 raffle and a very successful silent auction.”
