SEYMOUR — Is there an afterlife? A Connecticut author who has researched paranormal activity for decades will discuss her beliefs in a virtual program hosted by the Seymour Historical Society on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m.
The program will be presented via Zoom free of charge.
Sydney Sherman has published a book titled, “You Are Not Alone: Our Loved Ones Are Here, You’re Just Not Listening.” She’s a firm believer in the afterlife – and that it’s possible for all of us to have meaningful encounters with loved ones who have passed on. At the same time, she notes that “paranormal” topics are often exploited by people spreading false claims and myths. In her program, Ms. Sherman will talk about encounters with “the other side” and invite viewers to consider the concept of the afterlife in a rational, scientific way.
