The Friends of the Seymour CT Public Library will be holding a used book sale on WEDNESDAY, July 19 from noon until 2:00 pm for members of the Friends only. The general public is welcome from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. You can become a member of the Friends at the sale.
We have received a nice donation of math books and nursing books, both textbooks and work books.
Also, our children’s and youth book sections are both crowded with paperback Pokemon, My Weird School, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Big Nate graphic novels, Sugar Creek Gang, and some hardcover Nancy Drew books.
The boxes with Level Readers (1 – 4) are also getting full. Come in and get some books for the kids to read in the hot weather. And we still have many adult books and puzzles to help with the hot weather.
The Friends urge you to consider donating your gently used books and puzzles. You can drop off a donation at the circulation desk anytime the library is open.
