There has been some confusion with curbside garbage pickup in the city when we transitioned to the new company.
In the past, there were a slew of holidays where pickup would be delayed a day.
City Carting, our new vendor, has less holidays, therefore, in a week such as this one, there will be no delayed pickup.
I received many calls last holiday (MLK Day) where residents delayed putting out their trash, only to miss their regularly scheduled day.
City Carting was courteous enough to recheck the route to pickup the missed trash.
