Yummy Girl Scout Cookies Delivered To Seymour

On March 5, more than 2 million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies were delivered across Connecticut.

Hundreds of volunteers and Girl Scouts helped to off-load the cases of cookies from semi-trucks and pallets at 23 locations across the state, including the Tri-Town Plaza in Seymour.

The majority of the cookies will be delivered by Girl Scouts to customers that placed orders in January.

The remainder will be sold at cookie booths statewide through the month of April.

Girl Scouts will also continue to sell cookies for Cookies for Heroes.” Customers are encouraged to buy just one more box for their heroes.

This service project allows customers to purchase Girl Scout Cookies to be sent to service men and women around the world.

The goal this year is to be able to send over 125,000 boxes of cookies to service women and men at home and overseas. Visit www.cookiesforheroes.com for more information about this program.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is selling the same great eight varieties of cookies including: Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Dulce De Leche, Thank U Berry Munch, and Savannah Smiles.

The proceeds from Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s cookie program stay in Connecticut and directly benefit all of the Girl Scouts in Connecticut, including the Girl Scout troop or girl from which the cookies were purchased.
