The line-up for the state tournament for girls high school basketball was released Tuesday morning.
The Ansonia Chargers and the Derby Red Raiders have qualified.
The Red Raiders (10 – 10) are coming in as a 21 seed in the Class S tournament. They’ll be taking on 12-seed Putnam (14 – 6) at Putnam March 1 at 7 p.m.
If Derby wins, they’ll take on either Coginchaug or Stafford on March 4.
The Chargers, meanwhile, are ranked 15th, with a 13 – 7 record. They’ll take on RHAM High School (11 – 9) March 2 at 7 p.m. in Ansonia. RHAM is the 18th seed in the Class M tourney.
If Ansonia wins, they’ll take on second seed Sheehan March 5 at 7 p.m.
