For nearly a half-century, the Chamber has been honoring the Spirit of Volunteerism in our Valley community at the Annual Gold Seal Awards Reception. This Special Event will be held on Wednesday, October 30th beginning at 5:00 PM at Villa Bianca, 312 Roosevelt Drive (Route 34), Seymour.
Please join us for an elegant evening in celebration of the region’s business & community leaders who exemplify the spirit of selflessness & volunteerism in our Valley.
The Silver Medal, Gold Seal and Platinum Awards are among the most prestigious and time-honored community service awards in the Valley.
This year’s Silver Medal will be presented to the Valley Soul Gospel Choir Workshop, an extraordinary effort to build community through Music.
Gold Seal Awards will be presented to Jason Carlucci, Eric Hendlin and Nicole Heriot Mikula; three individuals who exemplify the spirit of community leadership.
Finally, the 2019 Platinum Award will be presented to Attorney Alan J. Tyma, a 1999 Gold Seal Award recipient who continues to inspire community leaders to this day.
The evening will include a Cocktail reception with hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, pasta and carving stations from 5:00 – 6:15, with the formal program starting at 6:30 PM.
