Golf Classic To Benefit Boys & Girls Club

The eighth annual St. Paul’s Classic Golf Classic will be held Monday June 13 at the Harry B. Brownson Country Club to will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.

There will be several activities that will have awards or prizes. Some of the activities will include: individual awards or prizes for the golfer who is closest to the in on all Par 3’s and one prize for the longest drive for men and women. There will be prizes for the first four winning teams.

Each year the proceeds from the St. Paul’s Golf Classic will support many of the church’s ministries including Outreach. This year’s recipient of the Outreach share will be the Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley (a non-profit organization). The Club, with facilities in Ansonia and Shelton provides programs that inspire, educate, guide and enable all young people to realize their full potential to be responsible, productive and caring persons. The Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley offers many programs for youth up to and including teenagers. The Club presents many programs and activities to its members while providing a safe atmosphere in which they can learn and grow.

Early registration is essential to play as the player spots are limited to 132 and will be filled quickly. The golf package includes green fees, cart, lunch, dinner and a gift bag for $185; non-golfers can attend for $75, which includes the reception and dinner.
