Griffin Hospital Offers Men’s Health Talk, Free Cancer Screening

In honor of Men’s Health Awareness Month, Griffin Hospital is hosting a free men’s health talk and prostate cancer screening on Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m.

Dr. Brian Sperling will present What’s a Man to Do?” – an open discussion of men’s health issues with a special focus on prostate cancer, low testosterone and sexual health. Attendees will receive a Play for Free Card” for the Sports Center of Connecticut in Shelton and those over 50 years old can have a free Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test.

The presentation is part of Griffin Hospital’s Healthy U Tuesday Talks,” a series of free wellness talks featuring Griffin Hospital medical experts and community partners providing trusted health information and answers to questions on a wide range of topics.

All Tuesday Talks are held in Griffin Hospital’s Meditation and Learning Center at 130 Division Street in Derby. Light refreshments will be served.
