What a wonderful night we had Dec. 3 with our new mayor David Cassetti.
David has over the last 15 years donated thousands of dollars to Friends of Jimmy Miller, Inc., a nonprofit group benefiting children in need through groups such as the Boys and Girls Club, boys and girls village Catholic charities, Special Olympics, etc.
The organization held a fundraiser banquet Dec. 3. It was a very nice night for us to get together. Mayor Dave brought a total of 10 of us. One of our newly elected Aldermen, Lorrie Vaccaro, also donated a substantial amount of money.
The event was held at Anthony’s Ocean view of New Haven with a total of over 1,500 guests. It is very generous for local politicians to help these kind of organizations for our children.
It was also very nice to see people from all over the great state of Connecticut attended and helping these kinds of fundraisers.
Keep up the great work you’re doing, Mayor Cassetti and team.
