Reader Carrie Jones-Sollami, a hairstylist at Derby’s E. and Company Salon on Olivia Street, passed along the following info Wednesday:
We are now the proud home of Bree Ann Thomas, formerly of Universal Hair Salon, which burned in the Shelton fire.
Bree has lost all her tools, her phone numbers, everything in her job, and will not be receiving any type of insurance assistance or money!
She’s slowly been getting the word out, and is putting up signs and fliers where she can but she is self-supported, and only makes money when she actually does customers!
Plus, she gives an excellent men’s cut and straight razor shave! NOBODY does that anymore — it’s a lost art.
Anything you can do for this hard working girl would be so appreciated!
