I’m trying to track positive COVID-19 cases in our schools (Ansonia, Derby, Seymour).
If you receive an email from your school regarding a positive case or cases, please consider forwarding the information to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
I am receiving reports of positive cases from readers without supporting info, such as a letter from a superintendent or administrator.
Not all districts in the state are sharing the information in ways that are accessible to the general public.
Some districts employ a closed loop, only sending information to the school community, leaving the general public in the dark.
My goal isn’t page views or panic. The public has a right to the information in order to track local trends that may be happening in their communities.
