Per the Shelton Police Department’s Facebook page:
“On Wednesday July 3, the City will host its annual 4th of July Fireworks show.
The following traffic changes are necessary for the show. Howe Avenue will be closed from Wharf Street to Center Street at 7:30 p.m. Vehicles will be detoured to Coram Avenue using Kneen and Center streets.”
A concert by Mia and the Riff will begin at 7 p.m. with fireworks to follow about 9:20 p.m. Police said the Cornell Street municipal parking lot has been designated as handicapped parking.

“Derby has an excellent view from Elizabeth Street which is closed for viewing from 6 p.m on. We have the restaurants and gallery open, vendors and live music with the Juicy Grapes on stage at the foot of the street. We also have the 911 Tribute Jeep on display and plenty of parking!”

All children (12 and under) will receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and a soda”

The address is 30 Great Oak Road in Oxford. FYI — the carnival has a new partner this year, so there will be new rides, attractions and non-stop action.
