SEYMOUR — The Naugatuck Valley Health District sent its Aug. 5 COVID report for Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Naugatuck, Seymour, and Shelton Wednesday.

- 11 new cases reported since the last report on 7/30
- 1 new COVID-19 associated death reported among a Shelton nursing resident. She passed away on 7/30 and our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
- CT Travel Advisory was updated 8/4.
