Here Is The Latest COVID Data From The NVHD


Gov. Ned Lamont said Monday the state’s COVD-19 positivity rate is still hovering around 1 percent, with 68 people in hospitals, down nine patients since Friday.

The 1 percent positivity rate is a small increase since last month, when it was just under 1 percent. Since then there has been Labor Day, students returning to college campuses, and younger students returning to public and private schools across the state.

Since Friday, three people have died COVID-19 related deaths. The state confirmed an additional 497 COVID cases over the weekend.

Locally, the Naugatuck Valley Health District reported an additional six positive cases within its jurisdiction since Friday.

The data shows five new cases in Naugatuck and one case in Shelton.
