Three people were taken to area hospitals after a two-car wreck on Rimmon Road near the Woodbridge town line Thursday.
According to information from Seymour Police Department Deputy Chief Paul Satkowski, a 2003 Honda Accord being driven by a 29-year-old Ansonia woman traveling east on Rimmon crossed over the double-yellow line after a curve in the road.
The Honda sideswiped a van with two people in it heading in the opposite direction.
The Honda then struck a stone wall and flipped over. The driver was able to crawl out. She was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with “non-life threatening” injuries.
The van went off the road. The driver and passenger were taken to Waterbury Hospital. Police described their injuries as non-life threatening as well.
The road was closed for a time as emergency crews dealt with the scene.
Police said charges are pending, but didn’t specify who would be charged.
