SHELTON — The Shelton Library system will be increasing their hours at both libraries beginning Monday, March 13th.
At the Plumb Memorial Library, the new hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 – 5:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 – 7 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 – 3:00 pm.
At the Huntington Branch, the new hours will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 – 7, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 – 5 and Saturdays from 10 – 3.
We also have begun to accept clean usable donations at the Plumb Memorial. We will gratefully accept your gently used hard cover and paperback books, DVDs, puzzles and audiobooks on Tuesdays & Saturdays from 9 – 3 in the green book drop outside the Meeting Room doors.
We do not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, medical, computer or condensed books, magazines or newspapers, music cassettes, VHS Tapes, toys, games, stuffed animals or any materials that are damaged. All donations become property of the Plumb Memorial Library to be used at our discretion.
Please visit our ongoing book sales in the Reading Room of the Plumb Library and the Huntington Branch year-round. The books and items for sale change on a weekly basis, and there are always good bargains available.
