Firefighters are currently at the scene of a house fire in Derby.
The blaze — in a multi-family house at 24 Summit St. — was first reported about 5:30 p.m.
Neighbors said two people and two dogs that were inside the house when the fire started made it out of the home uninjured.
Another dog died in the blaze, firefighters said.
No other injuries were reported.
Emergency radio transmissions indicated most of the fire had been knocked down about 6:30 p.m.
The city’s building inspector was called to the scene about 6:45 p.m. Red Cross officials were also called to respond, according to radio transmissions.
Power was cut to the neighborhood as firefighters fought the blaze. The United Illuminating website reported 141 customers were without power as of 7:25 p.m.
