Seymour police made two arrests for driving under the influence this weekend. In both cases, the suspect was not 21 years old.
The accidents happened on New Haven Road early on July 2, and on Great Hill Road the night of July 2.
Police charged Andrew Loshiavo, 20, of Oxford, with driving under the influence and possession of alcohol by a minor, after her failed sobriety tests at a stop on New Haven Road.

Beedle allegedly crashed his car on Great Hill Road, and then left the scene, police said. He was tracked by Seymour’s police dog and arrested.

Ansonia also reported one DUI over the weekend. Details of that incident were not available Monday.
Both towns reported several car accidents during the holiday weekend. They are marked on the map by pictures of cars.
Thefts From Cars
Ansonia also had three reported thefts from cars, on O’Neil’s Court, Cook Street and Clifton Avenue.
For the Cook Street incident, police charged Ansonia resident Kaire Mupya, 20, of North State Street, with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
He is a suspect in the other break-ins as well, police said.
