Mrs. Kellogg as a Suffragette
2020 is the 100th anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote. Mrs. Kellogg was involved in the suffragette movement here in Connecticut. Join Pat Sweeney as she provides us with a historical look back at this time period and the work Mrs. Kellogg and fellow contemporaries did to help secure the Vote for Women. An Introduction to iNaturalist and CT DEEP Wildlife Division Projects
Kyle Testerman, from the DEEP Wildlife Division will lead this webinar to help novice and expert users of iNaturalist take part in some local Citizen Science projects. This app is used to share population information on plants and animals. Researchers use this app to help them collect data on our natural world. Connecticut DEEP will be conducting some research projects this year and would like as many people to take part by using iNaturalist. Monarch butterflies are active in CT. Kellogg Environmental center participates in the Monarch Larvae Monitoring Project and you can too.
