Naugatuck Valley COG
ANSONIA / SEYMOUR – The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) and Save the Sound will host a public community meeting regarding the Kinneytown Dam Removal Project at the Ansonia Senior Center (65 Main St., second floor) from 6 — 8 p.m. on Aug. 28.
At the meeting, there will be a film screening, discussion, Q&A session, and free food and childcare, according to a newsletter. You can attend in-person or virtually.

According to the newsletter, the dam removal team has sent out a request for proposals for a project engineer to design the plans for the removal.
