Learn About Seymour’s $6 Million Bonding Request Oct. 27

On Election Day the residents of Seymour have some big choices to make. In addition to choosing our next President, residents will have to choose whether to approve $6 million in bonding. 

To ensure residents have all the information they need to make this important decision, First Selectman W. Kurt Miller will be hosting a public informational session regarding the proposal. Town Engineer and representatives of the Town’s bond counsel will be present to answer questions. 

The meeting will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, Norma Drummer Room, Seymour Town Hall, 1 First St.

The basics:

  • $4.5 million for road work
  • $1.5 million for repairs for municipal buildings
  • No impact to taxes
