My name is Meredith Weinerman. I am a fellow Quinnipiac nursing student with David Papcin, and I wanted to write this letter to show that the Bobcat community is behind David going into this Tuesday’s election!
While we might not agree on every political issue, David’s open mind and willingness to learn make him a great person to handle politics. David is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. I know that he is truly enthusiastic to serve office. He is a genuine individual with a natural instinct to help others.
In the clinical setting, I have seen the level of care David has provided for his patients. He is compassionate, benevolent, and ready for any challenge thrown at him. In government, I know he would work with his constituents in the same manner.
Politics are a nasty business, it’s one of the reasons why there is so much hostility in our social scene today. David is not about tearing others down, but building up the groundwork and putting himself at the forefront of the development.
I am not an Ansonia voter (I’m a proud New Jersey native!), but if I was, I can tell you that without a doubt I would be voting for David on Tuesday. People like David are far and few between, he is truly a one-of-a-kind candidate. I hope you will cast your vote for David Papcin for Registrar of Voters.
The writer lives in Hamden.
