The Ansonia Chargers (10 – 1) are moving on to the CIAC Class S semifinals after Tuesday night’s 47 – 26 quarterfinal win against Hyde (7 – 4) at Jarvis Stadium.
Montrell Dobbs carried the ball 24 times for 347 yards and 6 touchdowns. Chargers’ Freshman Arkeel Newsome also rushed for a touchdown.
Ansonia will face Montville (10 – 1) in the Class S Semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 4. at 2 p.m. in Middletown.
