Logan Attends Baby Fair, Talks School-Based Health Centers

Advocates For CT School-Based Health Centers


Sen. George S. Logan on April 26 attended an informational forum about school-based health centers at the State Capitol. Among the attendees at the event was Griffin Hospital Social Service Coordinator Rita Crana, who briefed state lawmakers on the quality services provided by Griffin Faculty Physicians at Ansonia High School’s Charger Health Center. 

The Center’s community partners include: Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Child Resource Center, Naugatuck Valley Health District, Valley Substance Abuse Action Council, Community Health Network, and the American Liver Foundation. Logan serves as Vice-Chair of the state legislature’s Public Health Committee.
