Sometimes birthday presents come early!
For Kylee Farrington of Ansonia, that’s exactly what happened when she won a $100,000 prize before her 24th birthday!
Farrington plays “once in a while” and was amazed when she revealed her “Jumbo Bucks” top prize.
Farrington said the retailer who sold her the ticket had a similar reaction. “[The clerk’s] jaw dropped and he said, ‘Kylee, you just won!’ I thought he was lying!”
With her birthday around the corner, Farrington has a lot to celebrate. To start, she wants commemorate her huge Lottery win with a night out and dinner. As for her birthday plans, Farrington said with a smile, [My friends] have something planned for me!”
The happy winner also looks to pay off student loans and plan a vacation.
The top prize winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms #4767 located on 455 Main Street in Monroe. For selling the ticket, they will receive a $1,000 check from the CT Lottery.
