Malloy To Talk Education Reform In Ansonia April 5

Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that they will hold an education town hall meeting in Ansonia on Thursday, April 5 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Ansonia High School (20 Pulaski Highway).

Doors will open at 6:15.

The event will be the tenth town hall meeting of the Governor’s Education Reform Tour.

These community meetings are focused on the topic of education reform and give Governor Malloy and Lt. Governor Wyman an opportunity to meet with all members of the public, including parents, students, teachers, and other concerned residents, for a conversation on proposed reforms to improve the state’s public school system.

Additional locations and dates on the Governor’s tour will continue to be added across the state until the legislature approves a bill addressing each of the six principles the Governor outlined in a letter to them in December.
