Man Accused Of Assaulting Seymour Police Officer

A 35-year-old man is due in court April 8 for allegedly assaulting a Seymour police officer.

According to a press release from police, officers and EMS were sent to Reservoir Manor March 26 for a report of a highly intoxicated man.

Police said Shawn Lonergan, of Washington Avenue, would not listen to commands and started fighting.
