The candidates for mayor in Ansonia will be debating Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Ansonia High School auditorium.
The debate is being organized by the Valley Independent Sentinel, the Valley Gazette and the Ansonia High School student council.
It starts at 7 p.m.
James Della Volpe, the Democratic incumbent, and David Cassetti, the Republican challenger, will answer six rounds of questions from two journalists.
In addition, the student council will ask a question and the candidates will have a round during which they will ask a question of each other.
The event is free and open to the public.
Ansonia High School is at 20 Pulaski Highway.
This is the first mayoral debate in Ansonia in six years.
