The Derby Public Library invites everyone to come and Meet the Valley Independent Sentinel on Wednesday, January 13 at 6:30 PM.
This new web site focuses exclusively on the news and events of the Lower Naugatuck Valley. It was launched on June 22, thanks to the support of the Valley Community Foundation and the Knight Foundation.
Both Eugene Driscoll, editor, and Jodie Mozdzer, reporter, will talk about journalism in the age of the internet and the role the Valley Independent Sentinel hopes to play in the community.
