Representatives Lawrence Miller (R‑Shelton, Stratford) and Jason Perillo (R‑Shelton) will once again be raising money for the community this holiday season.
The Representatives will be ringing bells and collecting donations in the red Salvation Army kettle outside of the Shelton Wal-Mart on Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Last year, during a similar hour of bell-ringing, Reps. Miller and Perillo collected $103.58 which Wal-Mart matched with a dollar-for-dollar contribution to The Salvation Army that brought the total for the hour to $207.16.
Reps. Miller and Perillo welcome everyone to stop by, say hello, and make a donation to make this year’s collection even more of a success.
