Milling, Paving On Tap For Route 110 In Shelton

State Rep. Jason Perillo of Shelton sent the following notice Tuesday.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 110 in Shelton.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.51 miles of Route 110 in Shelton.This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, October 21, 2015 to Thursday, October 29, 2015. 

The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 and Thursday, October 22, 2015. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 through Thursday, October 29, 2015.
 
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
 
Lane Closures

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 between Birdseye Road to the Monroe Town Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
