Don’t put away that shovel just yet.
The National Weather Service is predicting a follow-up snow shower for the state this weekend.
In Oxford, the NWS predicts some rain before midnight, then some snow showers overnight and into Saturday morning, with little or no accumulation.
Farther south in Derby, a light snow is predicted for early Saturday, again, with no accumulation.
The same is expected in Ansonia.
