
SHELTON — City police are investigating the deaths of a mother and son inside a residence on Sorghum Road.
Police were sent to the residence at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 to perform a ‘welfare check.’ Police did not say who are what triggered the request to check on the residence at 88 Sorghum Road.
Inside police said they found the bodies of Gale P. Lupe, 79, and her son, Michael J. Kramer, 59.
Police have not released the cause and manner of deaths, but have noted “there is no threat to the public.”
No one else resided in the house, police said.
Shelton police are investigating with assistance from the State Police Major Crime Central District and of the Office of the State’s Attorney out of the Ansonia-Milford Judicial District.
