A motorcycle rider was injured during a crash Monday afternoon.
Seymour firefighters, emergency medical personnel and police were sent to the intersection of Main Street and Route 67 at about 1:15 p.m. after receiving a report of a rider down with “serious” injuries.
Emergency personnel were on the scene within minutes, advising the man would be taken to an area hospital trauma unit.
The crash apparently involved a pick-up truck and the motorcycle, according to readers on Facebook.
The man’s name was not immediately available. He suffered head and leg injuries.
