Police ticketed a Bridgeport man after a motorcycle accident Sunday evening sent his passenger to the hospital, police said.
Lt. Sal Frosceno said Jamie Sanchez, 34, crashed his motorcycle near Main Street and Derby Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Sanchez’s passenger, Crystal Tracy, 20, also of Bridgeport, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries, Frosceno said.
There were no other vehicles involved with the accident, according to Frosceno, who said police at the scene issued Sanchez a ticket for operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license.
Frosceno said police were at the scene of the crash for about 37 minutes.
