The case against accused killer Tiffany Perry has been continued until Sept. 28.
Police said Perry fatally stabbed Jennifer Lewis in the Riverside Apartment complex in late June.
Perry was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday in Milford, but, due to a judge’s vacation, her case was continued.
Police said Perry, 26, stabbed Lewis after the two had a dispute on an apartment balcony at the apartment complex on Olson Drive in Ansonia.
Police said the fight happened during a Father’s Day picnic at the apartment complex, at about 8:30 p.m. June 21.
When police arrived on scene, they found Lewis with “at least one stab wound to the chest.”
Lewis was pronounced dead at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
